Alphabétisation selon l’approche un-à-un : une illustration de la responsabilité sociale de l’université marocaine

Le présent article met en lumière une initiative innovante dans la lutte contre l’analphabétisme au Maroc, à travers l’approche « Alphabétisation selon l’approche Un-à-Un », conçue par l’Université Cadi Ayyad de Marrakech en partenariat avec l’Agence nationale de lutte contre l’analphabétisme (ANLCA). Face aux limites persistantes de l’action publique, cette approche incarne une réponse audacieuse, inclusive et profondément humaine, en misant sur la mobilisation volontaire des étudiants universitaires pour accompagner, de manière individualisée et contextualisée, des adultes en situation d’analphabétisme. Elle repose sur une relation de proximité, de confiance et de flexibilité pédagogique, rompant avec les contraintes des dispositifs classiques. Par cette démarche, l’Université se positionne comme un acteur de transformation sociale, articulant ses missions de formation, de recherche et de responsabilité citoyenne. L’approche « Un-à-Un » s’inscrit dans une logique gagnant-gagnant : elle renforce la qualité des apprentissages, élargit l’accès à l’éducation, valorise l’engagement étudiant, et ouvre la voie à une nouvelle manière de penser l’alphabétisation comme levier de développement humain durable et d’innovation sociale à fort ancrage territorial.

Les résultats de ce travail montrent que l’implication structurée des universités dans l’alphabétisation, à travers une approche de proximité et d’engagement citoyen, peut significativement renforcer l’efficacité, la couverture et la qualité des politiques publiques, ouvrant ainsi la voie à un modèle national institutionnalisé et durable.

Abstract

The present article highlights an innovative initiative in the fight against illiteracy in Morocco, through the "One-to-One Literacy" approach, developed by Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech in partnership with the National Agency for the Fight Against Illiteracy (ANLCA). In response to the persistent limitations of public action, this approach embodies a bold, inclusive, and deeply human solution by relying on the voluntary mobilization of university students to provide individualized and context-sensitive support to adults in situations of illiteracy . It is based on a relationship of proximity, trust, and pedagogical flexibility, breaking the constraints of traditional programs. Through this initiative, the University positions itself as an actor of social transformation, aligning its missions of education, research, and civic responsibility. The "One-to-One" approach reflects a win-win dynamic: it strengthens the quality of learning, broadens access to education, promotes student engagement, and opens the way for a new vision of literacy as a lever for sustainable human development and socially rooted innovation.

The results of this study demonstrate that the structured involvement of universities in literacy initiatives, through an approach rooted in proximity and civic engagement, can significantly enhance the effectiveness, coverage, and quality of public policies, thus paving the way for a sustainable and institutionalized national model.
