The objective of this work is to examine the link between public financing of health and economic growth in Morocco. The literature review suggests that improving the health status of the population, particularly through public financing and facilitating access to health services, promotes greater productivity and therefore economic growth. Indeed, public financing of health promotes equity, the cornerstone of health capital development. To achieve this objective, we use an ordinary least squares regression analysis of time series for Morocco for the period 1980 to 2015. Our results show that public health financing is positively correlated with better income distribution and lower maternal and infant mortality.
