Using the resource-based theory (RBV) and its corollary dynamic capabilities (DC), this study investigates the relationship between Managerial Innovation (MI) and the organizational resilience of SMEs in Morocco. The primary aim of the study is to address the following question: to what extent does MI influences the organizational resilience of Moroccan SMEs? To achieve this objective, a survey was conducted using a questionnaire among 51 SME managers operating in different sectors. Multiple linear regression was used to test the study'shypotheses. The findings reveal that MI, encompassing both generation and implementation dimensions, significantly enhances the robustness, agility, and employees' integrity, considered as the three dimensions of organizational resilience in SMEs.
Therefore, this research provides novel theoretical and empirical insight into the relationship between MI and organizational resilience. They prompt SME managers to assign paramount importance to developing MI within their organizations by creating a climate conducive to its practices and by stimulating the SME's capacity to create and innovate. This strengthens the organization's resilience.
