The role that digital technology plays in the prevention and fight against money laundering in the banking sector has become fundamental. The introduction of new digital practices in the financial security industry has become an absolute necessity for banks. Multiple automated financial security programs would, for instance, allow banks to save time by optimizing the process of prevention and fight against money laundering. It is in this perspective that we formulate our problematic, namely: "Does the digitalization of programs within the financial security department contribute to the banking performance in terms of prevention and fight against money laundering?" In this perspective, we will analyze in a first axis, through a literary review, the digitalization of banking, its tools, its contributions as well as its limits in terms of prevention and fight against money laundering. Then in a second axis, we will opt for a qualitative study in the form of an interview in order to analyze the contribution of the digitization of automated programs in the prevention and fight against money laundering in financial security service. And to conclude, we will evaluate the impact of digitalization on the banking performance in terms of prevention and fight against money laundering through the results obtained from the interviews conducted.
