La production statistique sur l’économie sociale et solidaire au Maroc

Abstract

Résumé :
L’objectif de cet article, consiste à retracer l'histoire de la statistique de l'économie sociale et
solidaire (ESS) Au Maroc. Cette histoire n'a pas suivi l’émergence de ce secteur, malgré la
reconnaissance institutionnelle. Le manque d’une structuration articulée et cohérente des
composants et l’absence d’un cadre juridique unifié empêchent la connaissance de la
contribution réelle de l’ESS à l’économie nationale et constituent un frein à son
institutionnalisation. Si les données statistiques sur l’ESS s’améliorent, et si sa reconnaissance
se renforce dans le contexte national, de nombreuses questions s’imposent en termes de
méthodologie, du choix d’indicateurs et de périmètres.

Abstract
The objective of this article is to retrace the history of statistics of the social and solidarity
economy (SSE) in Morocco. This history did not follow the emergence of this sector, despite
the institutional recognition. The lack of an articulated and coherent structure of the components
and the absence of a unified legal framework prevent the knowledge of the real contribution of
the ESS to the national economy and constitute a brake on its institutionalization. If the
statistical data on SSE improve, and if its recognition strengthens in the national context, many
questions need to be asked in terms of methodology, choice of indicators and perimeters.
