The implementation of changes in companies currently represents a reconstitution of management procedures. This reconstitution does not always give the desired results, because the cost and the risks of the change can prove to be counter-productive. Change management therefore appears to be an essential solution, especially for small and medium-sized businesses, to limit their distortion.
Based on this observation, we will try in this article to give a definition to change, to explain the obstacles to adherence to change in companies such as the threats of failure and the impact on productivity. Then we will explain the role of change management by clarifying the importance of diagnosis and management and by setting out its objectives which make it a productivity lever. And we will end with a presentation of the activities of change management which act on the behavior and skills of employees.
