Study on the relationship between the industrial sector of car manufacturing and the confidence of Moroccan citizens in Moroccan industry

Automotive construction is the sector that brings together all the production of passenger and commercial vehicules.
As part of the industrial strategy " Morocco's industrial acceleration plan 2014-2020" the Moroccan automotive industry has become the country's most important export sector.
In addiction to the french multinational car groups renault ans PSA, a large number of car suppliers have also decided to produce in Morocco. Including a generous portion of german companies. In total, 60% of the components needed for automobile production can currently be obtained locally on the Moroccan market.
The questions that arise : what is the history of the automotive industry in Morocco ?can we rely onthis type of industry to develop the Moroccan industrial sector ? doMoroccans have confidence in their national industry ? to answer these questions, a survey was carried out on the Moroccan market.
The purpose of this article is first to highlight the history of this industry, its importance in the Moroccan industrial fabric and finally to bring out the views of citizens advocating its developpment.
